The special meeting of the City of Scotland was called to order by President Dennis Bietz at 5:00pm on Monday, July 29, 2024. The following council members answered to roll call: Wayne Bertrand, Myles Runyon, Tim Asche and Victor Settje (5:05pm). Those council members absent were Randy Abbink. Others present were Tanya Bult, Maggie Spak and Mayor Randy Thum (via phone).

2025 Budget was reviewed by fund/activity/account line item by line item.

A motion was made by Bertrand, second by Settje to enter into executive session at 6:13pm for Personnel as per SDCL 1-25-2 Sub (1). All voted in favor.  Motion carried.

A motion was made by Asche, second by Runyon to come out of executive session at 6:23pm with no action taken. All voted in favor. Motion carried.

With no further business to discuss a motion was made by Runyon, second by Settje to adjourn the meeting at 6:24pm. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
